The Sun Must Rise
My eyes I shut with ease,
I listen to the waves dance with the breeze.
I can smell the fresh air,
I let my eyes open...mesmerized i stare.
The colors paint the setting sky,
As i watch the silhouettes of birds fly.
The golden glow reflects off the lake,
As perfect as a dream but I am awake.
I watch from a distance as the light kisses your skin,
So beautiful my heatt pounds as my head spins.
In this moment you look so light,
Almost like your close to alright.
Your light eyes and dark complexion,
So close to pure perfection,
Your beautiful smile so breathless and warm,
The perfect calm in the middle of a storm.
Through the countless times you made me cry,
This breath taking memory I'll remember you by.
Every sun must set and moment will demise,
But through the dark te sun must rise.
