Sun to My Life

Through life’s cycles,

There is one thing that always stands out.

From the hurt and pain that the world may give,

There is always sunshine at the end of every tunnel.

As the Sun always has the moons back, even as Night’s darkness takes over the Earth,

As the Sun radiates its happiness to the Earth, to keep it from Cold’s sadness,

As the Sun always has its gaze set on the Earth,

Yet the Sun is alone in the sky, independent from the Earth’s activity,

As the Sun continues to shine in the sky, it protects the Earth from harm.

Through life, no matter a friend or a lover,

I will always love you for you.

As you are the Sun of my life,

I will always be there for You 

As You are there for me 

As long as the Sun continues to shine on this Earth.
