Sun Rise

Rejection hits me head on. The missing piece to my puzzled life has finally been found….. Failure. It sinks like the Titanic to its rightful place. I’m left shunned and alone drowning in a world of illusions. She loved me or so I thought she did. Tempted me like any snake, made me fall under her spell. Stabbed me in the chest, now all I see is red on my lap. It’s a bloody mess but I wouldn’t have it any other way. If I can love why not something has I’ve always wanted? Mend my heart and lay it back in her precious palms. Why not go for perfection and fail every time and still brave to see the sun rise the next day. I would and will, for all good things come to those who wait with an everlasting patience.

forgottenpoet

I've always been misunderstood, judged, riddiculded but then again who hasn't. Books became my escape the world I now ventured to no longer black and white. I didn't need to face reality it was on pause, while the words on the pages sprang to life. I started writing for a release turned out I had a talent in it you can say. But as I write the words that once so many adored are now forgotten turns out this is a poets wrost nightmare.
