Sunday Mornings
Here comes a new helper, I wonder if she’s shy,
or if she’ll be like superman and fly.
Away…
Sometimes the yelling and screaming drives me mad,
but maybe that warm face of hers will make me glad.
And bring peace
To the chaos of being in the toddler room,
where dollies dance, and cars go vroom.
While parents pray…
We found out her name is Miss Sydney,
she says “hello” and surely smiles plenty.
With a soft twinkle
She brings us together to teach God’s word,
We learned through songs, that’s what she preferred.
Like the choir…
Twirling, clapping and laughing the whole class,
Until someone cries which becomes a humongous task.
But not for her
I think I hear my parents coming,
Service is over since parents are perfuming.
Running giving hugs…
Parents ask how did he or she do?
Miss Sydney says good but sometimes it’s not true.
I chuckle
Every week she is greeting and singing,
Many of the children find it appealing.
I am so happy…
Miss Sydney has more joy while teaching God’s word,
She created a bond with us, hope it continue forward.
On Sundays
