Sunday Night Essay

Jesus, I’ve been stressin’ about this all month

you’d think I’d have learned by now, but no

here we go again, wait for mom and dad to go to bed

I can’t let them see, they didn’t even know about the assignment

I guess they’ll find out soon enough

when they see the 70 in my grades

just like the last essay

and the next one

doesn’t matter, man

I’m used to procrastinating

it’s become part of my life

it’s part of my mind

it’s just who I am

it’s just another

Sunday night essay
