Sunflower

She looked up and saw the rays of the sun

felt the warmth on her palm.

Facinated by the light,

she tried to run,

but her roots ancored her

and she saw her mom

pulling her to her ground

she almost felt wrong

for her desire to run.

She looked down and saw distance,

she looked up and saw the sun.

She understood it was her time.

"Im sorry mom"
