The Sunflower
As beautiful as a meadow of sunflowers.
They turned to face the sun.
Shining beautifully amongst the green around them,
they make her smile.
Holding a spot in her heart she only can dream of protecting them.
For such beauty should be protected.
They will find peace with time, the sunflower,
sharing light with the daisy,
To be a sunflower is to be truly beautiful.
My sunflower you are truly a goddess.
For, M.P.
