Sunflowers

Sunflowers are made to grow and stay alive. They grow in fields with friends on every side. They raise their heads, proud towards the sun. They look like they are having lots of fun. Why can't I grow in that very field. I feel alone, umbrella as my shield. Im growing, I try to reach the sun, I'm working, the grass can't be outrun All my friends are sunflowers, they're tall, Growing high they left me here to crawl. The field has blocked me from the sun, The torture, has only just begun Please don't block me from the juicy rain, I need it to quench my thirst, my pain My umbrella hides me from the sun, I'm told I was ment to be undone Why'd you come, you cannot save my fate, I'm born to die alone, and so I hate, I hate those that blocked me from the sun, Im fighting, I run from what I've done.
