Sunlight

Light dances off the ocean,

sparkling in the sunlight.

As I witness the vastness of the sea, 

I am filled with delight.

Waves kiss as they come together,

and yet they inevitably break apart. 

Just as in life, to each other we tether,

but sometimes we are torn away.

But life goes on, 

I can love again.

Just like a new dawn, 

life can begin anew.
