Sunny days

Sun-kissed skin, bleach-blonde hair.

Toes in the sand, waves crashing on.

The ocean smell in the air,

What first had me drawn.

Collecting the shells burried lightly.

Picking up sea glass shining brightly.

Gazing as the sun begins to set.

Packing up the treats from the day,

Drying off whatever was wet.

But wanting the summer always to stay.
