Sunrise

Light catches and shimmers across the scape,

A vast span of Diamonds...scattered upon a green blanket,

The Sun peeking out from behind the horizon,

My nose is filled with the freshness, the purity;

It cleanses as it travels into my being,

Changing my outlook, my perspective.

Off in the distance, a song echoes,

A lullaby of love, of content.

The singer spreading its beauty, radiance.

I am relaxed, rejoiced;

The sins of yesterday lost,

Washed away by the dawn of a Sunrise
