Sunrise

In the darkest of nights, you come to me.

After all, you never let me sleep peacefully.

           Morning seems a lifetime away.

No longer am I a slave to you.

Over and over again, you paralyze me.

               The nightfall is ending.

           A new day has come.

Finally, a new sun has risen.

                            Rise, morning star!

                                And claim your new dominion.

In the black sky of suffering, peace has illuminated the eventide.

Dawn still comes even after the darkest of nights
