Suns on Earth

Dandelions shoot up from the ground Like tiny suns bursting through The soil. Scattered everywhere, they look As if God took a little bit of his Love and sprinkled it on my lawn. How can humans turn such love Into hatred? They made dandelions Useless and to be picked from the soil. But my God sprinkled his love there for A reason. Why is it considered a weed? I see it happen often. He puts only Love into a child just so everyone Can banish her from their kingdom. She will always be welcome in His Kingdom. Just like all the dandelions My mom plucked from our yard in 1983. Dandelions are such beautiful things. They grow from the sun into a firework And explode into tiny fragments of God's love. All it needs is that Little girl from 1983 to pluck it From the root with her tiny, curious hands And give it a breath of life. "Dandelions are such useless things" Says her mother, because her mother Has never felt the magic of watching the Tiny umbrellas dance in the air as they Float to the ground. The little girl wants To take her back in time. A time where Dandelions are suns and love is real and God is real and he loves her so he gave her Suns on Earth.
