Sunset

I walk outside each afternoon

And in the sky I see-

A stream of orange dancing high,

And panting just for me.

She tells me that my life is good,

She shows me that all is calm.

Another day's behind me now.

Tomorrow, I'll move on.

She reminds me to sit back and think,

Of the beauty all around.

My life, my friend, my family,

And all the love that I've found.

My sunset listens as I speak,

And tell her of my dreams.

She melts away and now I wait.

For what tomorrow brings.
