The Sunset
I enjoy it; like a cup of orange strawberry Sunny D on a hot summer day.
Thats what it reminds me of.
When I stare into it I feel peace.
Not a care in the world, that peace.
The color sends me back to simpler times.
My best memories reside in the sunset.
Those memories of yellow big wheels, blue snow cones and bright super-hero powered tennis shoes.
Screaming, shouting and siren sounds filled those great days.
Along with laughter that seemed to last for lifetimes.
I'll never forget the happiness my childhood brought.
Oh sunset set another scene for me.
