Sunset

The sunset is the last glimpse of light from a long weary day

The last tired hope of light before darkness arrives

No matter where you move in the world

You’ll always witness the long tiresome day and the cold dark night

But each day for a short period of time

You get to see that last glimpse of sunshine appearing over the horizon.

For no one Loves the pressure of bright light

Nor the loneliness of the long unwinding darkness

But in this short period we experience the light and dark clashing

Serenity is found in the masterpiece of the sky’s last battle to resist pressure and loneliness.

In the dark you cannot foresee the difference between a vast green meadow or a small patch of dirt

The light an illusion

The sun it’s magician

Hiding behind the towering skyscrapers

Looking down upon you and your accomplishments.

As you head home from each days trick

Your accompanied by the late days last battle

To show off it’s exuberant colors between the bright blue day and the overwhelming dark night.
