Sunset

Dear first love , if I could turn back time I would I would time travel . Was there something I did wrong ? Was I not pretty enough? I gave you all my love . My heart feels so empty without you . I wonder what am I supposed to be . I’m scared to fall in love with someone new because of what you did . You broke me like I’m a piece of glass what if I told you I miss you , would you come back or would you drink me like a coffee and throw me away when you had enough? What if we were meant to be would you come back and fix me . I know I was just a game you played when you were bored but what if I tell you my feelings were real would you laugh like I’m a joke . I’m falling again for someone but every time I let someone up the walls come back and pushed them out . So just say something. Anything . I’m giving up on love and on myself . Over time it will be just a memory. The times we went swimming and you picked me up I remember the first time I said I love you and you smiled and said I love you too it’s in the back of my head like a faded memory I remember your perfect brown eyes it was like I was looking into the sunset and your brown hair felt so soft in my fingers I felt like I was touching the sky . I would have ran into the sunrise and never look back if you didn’t leave . If you didn’t leave I wouldn’t be who I am so the world working in funny ways I can see the rain out my side . Oh how I wish I was the that tear in my face so I can just fead away like you did . You walked away into the sunset without me .
