Sunset

Shifting shallows, Shifting shadows

in the shallow deep

Salt from my soul seeps through to swim with her

sadness...

Sinking ships, shifty souls

their figures, formless

stars catapulting,

somersaulting

bouncing right by

where we only dare to tread in the universe

without capitulation.
