Sunset Beauty

Stretching out beyond the vast sea that lies in front,

I see the sun begin to descend below the horizon line.

The day is coming to an end.

My jaw drops while looking at the radiant mixture of all the warm colors blending together throughout the sky.

Red, orange, and yellow colors from the sun gently bounce off of the creamy white clouds that seem to be sitting ever so still.

Minutes pass by as I feel the last flashes of heat flow through my body.

I recall the good things that happened to me today alongside the people I love most.

I think of the shimmering heat haze that danced above the dunes of the sand.

Like the feelings made with positive attitudes and compliments,

An energy that everyone should feel as their day winds down.

The moon becomes more and more predominant as time flies by,

Bringing the cool colors of the night along with it.

Living your life day by day,

Moment by moment,

With no regrets of the day I just lived.

I gaze passionately up at the moon.

Bright stars twinkle on the surface of the ocean as darkness envelops my vision.

My eyes see the sparkle of the stars,

While my mind reminisces on the nice actions my peers have treated me with today.

Suddenly I realize to myself that the sunset has come to an end,

And I look forward to seeing a likewise dazzling sunset again soon.

Another day goes by and I look forward to tomorrow.

Excited to be around my friends and family,

Sharing the blessings of life.

I admire the qualities a sunset exudes,

And I am inspired to live my life day by day,

With such beauty and appealing qualities like a sunset.
