Sunset Flower

Sunset flower

scarlet rose

scent of Summer

in sharpened velvet

Bees within you

breeze without

scatters petals

on the ground

Rose to blossom

Flower to seed

Seed to shoot

and flower to feed

drowsy bees

and butterflies

and lovers under

Summer skies
