Sunset Teaching
The sun hangs so low in the room
Where will you go?
Lost, we’re lost so low down
One change to save a life,
to change the wave
don’t bring it crashing down
Life is a luxury
steal the pen from my hand
I dare you
Dare you to take what you can,
you will
you know
this life is a luxury
It’s my passion,
my strife
A strife that is life
How can we communicate through the hate?
When the sun hangs to low in the room,
the shadows blind us,
What can you see?
I can’t see me, not you
Words, words, words
We need words
I can’t see you, until I hear you
Let me teach you
Let me teach you the words
Your lips wrap around the sound
take a bow to what we know
Let me teach you the way,
let you teach it all the way
We can end the hate
We change a life
We change life
I come to teach
Let it bring peace to your mind
to my soul
to the world of chaos
Slow down the entropy
Give me your words
and take mine,
let this teaching be a chain
let us combine our lives
I come to show you what I know,
see what you can do
with a bit of knowledge
Aspirations are your right
Teaching is my life
Let me give you the words
and you can give me the challenge
We cannot lose our hearing
if we want to find our sight
Walk with me, as sisters should
Hold my hand,
what could I do,
but to let you feel my love?
Let me teach you
Let the words unite us
Language is love
so let us love
I will find a way
to give you the means
Don’t take away this opportunity
I change my life
I change your life
We are connected
Each piece for the other
Let me teach you
Let me show you my love,
Oh, when the sun hangs so low in the room
A suffocating sunset,
Let me teach you the words,
Let me show you my love
The words unite,
we combine our life
So let us love
