Sunshine

You say it's the light that comes from within,

Bright and sunny is how you've always been.

Your smile would light up the room and you weren't afraid to dream,

Nothing could harm you so it would seem.

But you disappeared completely unannounced,

Your life in the shadows miserably renounced.

No one knew what to do, what to say,

It was dark and damp like a rainy day.

You got into things that corrupted your life.

You turned against all, you were at strife.

You were beautiful, you were love, you were exceedingly bright.

You were once called Sunshine but revised to Dark-night.
