Sunshine

She's the sunshine,
the heat you feel over your skin,
the warmth that fills your body.

When you look up at the sky,
 and see the sun.
 Remember, she's the one
who fills your soul.

 She's the brightness
that makes you squint your eyes,
 the cheerfulness like Christmas morning
 a golden glow that lingers
long after the day is done.
