Sunshine Away

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine"

A melody sung by mothers everywhere A song of love, adoration, and desperation

Love for those few you hold close to your heart Adoration for all they are
Desperation for a higher power to not take her sunshine away  Her sunshine remained ... But mine was gone within days .  No time for goodbye Only harsh words that were never meant to be said  Laying in my bed wailing "Why?" Crying myself to sleep Barely able to eat

The day my sunshine's light went out was darkest day in my life  Grieving day after day as every sky turned grey Because you were no longer there to make me happy  "Please don't take my sunshine away."
