Superficial Sea Dream

You swim to the shore,

admire the prince you adore.

You change who who you are,

and leave for a place that is far,

from your family and friends under the sea,

all for a man who appears to be,

charming, handsome and the one to can make your dreams come true,

but my dear, the one who allows you to reach your dreams is you.

Your disapearrance from down below has caused quite the commotion,

and you leaving your life behind in the ocean.

All of this for a man when you have only seen his face,

changing yourself for a man is a monumental disgrace.
