Superhero Heartbreak

No more wearing my heart on my sleeve,

From now on I'm guarding it,

with lock and key,

bulletproof glass

and a thick wall of concrete.

Not even Superman,

will be able to break into my heart.

What's the point of looking

for a hero,

When all they do is let you fall?

Because in the end,

they're really the villian

pretending to answer the call.
