Superheroes are Dead

Where can I go when all I am is afraid,.

.

With no where to run, and no where to hide,.

.

I run to my room and take out the notebook under my bed,.

.

I turn to the blank crinkly pages and begin to write,.

.

making up a fantasy world and a fantasy girl,.

.

nothing to run from, nothing to fear, on these blank pages everything disappears,.

.

Superheroes are dead so I'm saving myself in my own world,.

.

I'm becoming my own super girl.
