Supermarket flowers

I bought you supermarket flowers

Because you said the world was ours
Everything was in our grasp
Everything happened so damn fast
I was to move to the city
So you could kiss me and tell me I was pretty
And I have pity for myself for falling for you you're so damn witty
But what you did was pretty shitty
We were supposed to have everything
A love that people would envy
A love that would send the world into a frenzy
But soon you left me empty after I gave you entry to my heart
Because
My supermarket flowers were pretty
But hers were prettier
