"Hey how was your day?"

"Pretty good.... same as usual"

That's what I normally say.

That's all I could've said.

Although happiness was the only emotion shown,

It wasn't the only thing I felt.

The feeling of being alone,

trapped, in the darkness.

How could I tell someone how I truly felt?

My sadness was a burden

I felt no one else deserved to hear.

I was afraid to feel, express my true feelings.

There's this fear that follows the sadness

The fear that you will be viewed as broken,

even though you know you're not or are you?

All you can do is repeat the bad things,

but don't.

I was always told,

that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

Most people that are trapped and hopeless

Don't always wanna hear the same thing.

We don't want a solution.

We want you to understand and just listen.

Help me through it,

walk with me but don't push me somewhere I'm not ready.

Guide me and have faith in me.

For I know that with your support I will get out of this hole.

I will be back to myself, the person you've missed.

Instead of saying "There's always a light at the end of the tunnel."

Say "Let me help you find yourself,

I will be your support."

"We'll get through this together."
