Support


I've been lied to,

there is no such thing as

SUPPORT in family anymore.

 

"family" is a mass of people who are supportive of you, who believe in you... 

or so I thought. 

Family meant being there for you, even if you make a mistake but

 

What "family" means now is:

Forgetting that you're human and vulnerable

Always pushing you to inferiority 

Making you believe you're a nobody

Insistent on your failures

Laughing at your struggles and letting

Yucky, conflicting feelings grow like weeds in you.

 

It may be the tears typing or the spitefulness driving me but

I know "family" meant better but as

I grow older, it slowly mutated and

all that is left are red eyes and scars on the heart.
