Suppose
Suppose that I miss you,
Suppose that I care.
And suppose that I spent all my nights running scared.
Suppose that I was never there.
Only In my eyes I’m screaming at the other side.
And tonight I’m dreaming of all the things we’ve been through.
And I can’t hold on to you.
So I guess I’ll be lonely too.
Suppose we were happy,
Suppose it was true.
And suppose that I’m nothing without you.
And suppose there were cold nights, but we sat there waiting through.
Slow down,
This break down, keeping me alive.
And I’m tired,
And this fire, fighting to survive.
Tell me a secret,
Tell me a story,
I mean inventively, I stay away for now. I’m not strong enough to fight.
Suppose that I was wrong,
Suppose you were right,
Suppose that I reached out and caught your tear,
And suppose, this might just disappear….
