Suppression;

the super ego Freud called it, the conscious inhibition of an impulse the dictionary defines it, torture I acknowledge it as. Light fades when it is encapsulated; the bitter reality of truth illuminates. Questions, thoughts, doubts of what will come of me. As I stand here before you, an image of God's grace, the beast inside of me begging to be unleashed. With every glance, touch, kiss from you; slowly killing me softly. I whisper to you "you just need a friend right now". I want you right now my inner afflictions cry out; but who can hear you when no one knows you exists.
