Sureness of the Sun

Over the edge appear the rays

Turning all nights into days

Provider of every breath, every flutter, every growl

Allowing creatures to hunt, to hide, to prowl

Pulling the earth, venus, mercury, mars

The Sun is the most meaningful to me of all the stars

Its majesty and power each day amazes me

And reminds of the strength and interconnectedness of we

And as each morning the sun rises slow

I know that I have been blessed with another chance to grow
