From The Surface To The Core

A glance at the exterior would reveal only the surface and see barren land. And now wanderers come from afar to roam and scrutinize this foreign place, but do not see how the indigo tears of a storm caresses the length of simple curving branches. Or how the sun's warm light will ripple and sway around the plain desert and through the rain's light touch upon the woods to gift the empty terrain with lovely blooms. And how the stars that notice all; are cast down in abash. It's infinitely long universe blankets these stars to shield them from the unnerving stares of these vultures. This unknown land is seen by them as plain, simple, average and not worthy of their attention and is then geographically chartered as a cast away island. Such ignorance and snobbish superiority blinds them to the laughter that this island would share to a kind traveler. Or how it's vast and endless curiosity would convey you to join along and journey in it's expanse of sweet secrets and infect you with happiness for it will always stretch down it's curled vines and listen to you speak and gift you with presents for simply being a companion. And will not begrudge you when you move on. And will instead cherish the memories you gifted, deep within it's endless roots that is Me.
