Surrender


I lay my head in my hands 

My heart is hollow

Darkness consumes my body

Seeping into the crevices of my soul

 

Lies fill my head

Placing peace in my hand

Once chance for change,

For life 

 

Their hunger grows 

As the light slowly fades
