Surreptitious Sea

The voice of the sea is severe-- scolding, rebuking, mocking, laughing at the soul who dares enter its sorrowful abyss. But who could resist a voice so enticing? That seemingly harmless, soothing whisper of the subtle sea summons your searching soul. Reaching, tugging, pulling at your innermost passions and aspirations. And just when you’re finally pulled into the sea’s soothing lull, it drags you under, whips you around, swallows you up-- trapping you forever in its sinister sanctuary.
