Surroundings

Eyes close,
Swoosh!
Vehicle passing by,
Beep! Beep!
Passing by the road rage,
Tweet! Tweet!
Passing by a bird’s song,
Sniff!
Passing by a bakery,

Slowly walking
Closely to the side of buildings
The feel
Ridged hard smooth cracked glass,
Walking
Searching for a destination,
Opens eyes
Day or night
Still dark as ever
Never change
While still searching for a destination,

Growl!
Ignoring my stomach,
Listening
Hear yelling
Screaming from a far,

Mind confused
Should I help?
Pass by?
Let someone else help?
Pass by?
How could I help?
Pass by?

Walking closer,
Listening
Stumble over trash on the ground,
Three Feet running away,
Silence
Feeling around,
Heart drops to the sound of crying in the corner alley,
Closer
Closer
Sniff!
Perfume

Anyone there?
Are you ok?
Silence
Closer
Closer
Stumble over unresponsive body,

Mind confused,
Should I help?
Pass by?
Let someone else help?
Pass by?
How could I help?
Pass by?

Feels
By the side of the building,
Running
Sidewalk
Asking for help,
Listening
Feet passing by
Passing by
Passing by?
Passing by

Mind clear,
Bakery?
Heart racing
Running
Pushing
Sniff!
Opens door of the bakery,
Screams
Call 911
This person needs help!
Listening
Dial of phones.
