SURVIVAL

Let me live. Let me breathe.

Let me my claws unsheathe.

Free me from vines. Free me from tracks.

Free me from mud and cracks.

See me fly. See me soar.

See me begging the world for more.

Bleed me out. Bleed me thin.

Bleed me so I can begin again.

Flee from my terror. Flee from my might.

Flee from the things not in sight.

Dress me in labels. Dress me in satin.

Dress me in sin.

Judge my every move. Judge my motives.

Judge this one that truly lives.

Breathe in my insanity. Breathe in this beast.

Breathe in the scent of this feast.

Maim my spirit. Maim my me.

Maim this unorthodox destiny.

I will live. I will writhe.

I will survive

Elandria

An aspiring author and a semi-active poet, I often take the characters from my book(s) and take them to my poetry, though, more often than not, I will focus on other subjects and let my creativity flow where it wishes to go. Elandria, my username, is actually one of the characters from my book, though she is honestly everything I would want to be, if I could choose!
