Surviving a Lifelong Battle

No one is like me

This is a blessing and a curse

No one is as detail oriented as I am

No one thinks like me

And because of this I see things in a way no one else does

No one thinks outside of the box like I do

I am an individual with mental health

My mental health may control me, but it does not overrule me

My anxiety makes me shy

But I am still confident

My depression makes me cry

But I am still happy

No one is like me because I have mental health

But my mental health does not define me

It is only a part of me

So do not judge me for my diagnosis

For i am confident that I will win this battle
