Survivor

the difference was he had a choice and i didnt.
life isnt fair. you hear that all the time.
you never really understand the depths
until its you who's at the bottom of the ocean
drowning in salty tears because what?
because life isnt fair that's fucking what.
and dont tell me you're sorry because
i dont want your fucking pity.
pity is for the weak and i am anything but weak
as i swim my way up to the surface
and take a breath of fresh air because i,
i am a survivor and that is what we do.
