Survivor
Survivor-Stella D’Vine
I am free.
I am scared.
My wings flutter and fall slightly against the wind.
I try to keep my balance.
I try to stay in the air.
My wings grow tired and droop.
Survivor.
You got this.
My brother’s voice hums in my head.
I got this.
I say with determination.
Survivor.
I am not going to give.
I’ll keep on surviving.
Survivor.
