SURVIVOR

Who am I?

I was a cloth doll

Innocent and loved.

Then came the rough players,

Ripping me at the seams

Getting under my skin.

I was a doll,

Torn and broken

I had wounds hidden where people couldn't see.

Then I was alone,

Bleeding in the dark

Crying to ears that couldn't hear.
