Survivor

I am survivor

But I don’t believe that

She took all that was good out of me

They all tell me

I will overcome

It’s foolish to think that

I will become who she is

Darkness

Will overcome

The light

I will be the example

I Will

Who will save me

When I crumble

I will be strong

They all lie

I know

I will never heal

I am powerful

But not enough

Her words hurt me

Now read it backwards
