Sweet

This is the sugar glaze

Over the donuts

Krispy Kreme

Sickeningly sweet

Artificial coat

Covering everything.

I want to break through the surface

But I swim in the liquid layers

To the top

Where it has crusted and cracked

And I am underneath

a frozen lake

trapped.

It is all too much for me

And it makes my stomach churn

If I swallow any of it

I will surely vomit

And it will seperate

Like water and oil

And my nausea will dissipate

Until I swallow again.
