Sweet butterfly
Growing up as a Caterpillar isn’t easy
The air is unpleasantly windy
Pushing me off the tree rapidly
Plants taking off into the wind swiftly
Other caterpillars push you off trees briskly
I roam through the world mystified
Trying my best to survive each day satisfied
Pursing my dreams of becoming confident
Trying to pursue those dreams of becoming a butterfly
With everyday changing
By developing a cacoon
To soon rupture out and go into the world changed
Into a sweet full of color butterfly
Whose wings attract positivity
Whose colorful wings brighten up anyone’s day
Wings that break boundaries and get you out of your comfort zone
My patience of once being a caterpillar has helped me become a butterfly
The wings given to me are given as a reward for facing the world with hard work
Through hard work and effort anything can be pursued
Now I know that If I set my mind into anything I can assure myself it will happen
It only takes one sweet caterpillar to change the world.
