Sweet Easy Blues

Sweet Easy Blues

Sitting on porch my eyes overview

Got nothing to do

On this lazy summer day

Walking around seeing not a cloud in the sky

My feet start to twitch

Soon enough I’m pretty sure my body is bewitched

I moved along to the scatty beat

For the man made that sad piano moan and groan

Letting out a raggedy beat

It seemed to awaken something inside me

Next thing you know I was boogieing all through town

Those Sweet easy blues

Filled my good old ears

I felt alive again after all those years

I swayed and swayed till my soul gave away

Those Sweet easy blues calmed me right down

For who would I be without those sweet, sweet blues
