Sweet Father of mine

Roses are mostly red

Violets are almost always blue

This poem is about my hero

And my hero is you

From late nights helping with homework

To early mornings taking me to school

You always seemed so cool

And taught me the golden rule

To trust others as they trust you

And not to be rude

When you’re fighting with other people

There are somethings you  just can’t redo

As you might have guessed

You’re one of the best

At never getting mad

And being my dad
