Sweet Home

Jingle, Jingle
I can hear the ice cream truck on its way
Running as fast as I can to catch up to it
Just to get a refreshing treat
It seems like yesterday
Seems like yesterday

Riding bikes around the block
That suddenly turns into going to the pool
The sun couldn’t be stronger
The trees couldn’t get any bigger
It seems like yesterday
Seems like yesterday

Red, white, and blue
The colors quickly passing by
The band playing “The Star Spangled Banner”
Sitting on my dad’s shoulders
It seems like yesterday
Seems like yesterday

Waiting anxiously to walk in
Feeling the cool breeze of air from the door
I see my teacher on my very first day of school
The sun got stronger
The trees got bigger
It seems like yesterday
Seems like yesterday
