Sweet Lullaby

The light starts to fade as you start to sing

You never know when the morning will come

But you somehow know when to spread your wings

Although you never know where they are from.

My dear, you can shatter and break like glass

But you still start dreaming about the light

Thinking about the sweet green summer grass

Wondering when everything can go right.

Your dreams start to flow just like a river

Crashing against the cold hearted stone rocks

It makes everyone begin to shiver

But not a single rock gives you a shock.

Although many people tell you to stop

You still continue to dream and never drop.
