Sweet Remembrance

Oh how you stay on my mind everyday like a tidal wave I drift in your emotions hoping it'll never stop because having your breath on my neck takes me away from my darkness your touch like electricity, spreading warmth throughout my body I’ll never be cold again.

Baby I hope this emotion will never leave because you’re my sweet remembrance always in my dreams day in and day out. I can never get your smell of my skin, still feeling your fingertips ghosting my skin drowns out the world.

Oh sweet remembrance, like a shadow drifting in the light always touching the surface but never diving in. with you on my mind I can’t forget what you taste like on my tongue. I feel like I’m drowning in your luscious embrace.

Dear sweet remembrance, please don’t leave me for your all I have left of what I once knew for his embrace will never entrap me again for now I’m once again alone as I look down at your unsmiling stone.
